It gives me great pleasure to greet you on behalf of Kappa Theta Epsilon Sorority! We are galvanized and motivated to make profound leaps forward over the course of the remainder of the 2014-2016 biennium.
With our recent brand update, activation of new programs, and upcoming National Membership Invitational, Kappa Theta Epsilon is poised to further exemplify our founding tenets of Sisterhood, Fidelity, Accomplishment, and Service.
In the coming weeks and months, you’ll see even more activity from us via social media and public events. We encourage every prospective member, affiliate and Soror to get in on the action!
One of Kappa Theta Epsilon’s most passionate efforts is the development of lesbian LGBT community leaders. We will continue to strive toward excellence in the life of every member, through leadership training and a continued commitment to personal development.
In terms of Sorority programming, Kappa will continue its past successes while building new and innovative programs to serve the LGBT community into the future. Our signature Plum Goes Green Initiative is still going strong, with 90% of all Sorority documentation, marketing and reporting being paperless. Other emerging philanthropic efforts include the Kappa STEMS Initiative, For Eudy and #MoreThanMarriage, which will debut in Fall 2015.
Now more than ever, expanding our membership to include even more motivated, powerful and successful women committed to being catalysts for change is essential to the Sorority. As a premier LGBT Greek-lettered organization, Kappa Theta Epsilon prides itself on creating beneficial connections with prospective members and maintaining a thoughtful and effective membership selection process.
Through our Fall 2015 Membership Invitational, Kappa will open her doors to a new class of leaders and entrepreneurs. We could not be more excited to share more about our exceptional organization with worthy candidates.
As we reach new heights, I look forward to the successes that lay ahead for this wonderful sisterhood.
