Kappa Theta Epsilon is proud to serve the Louisiana community through the Les Bon Temps Colony.

Located in Lake Charles, LA, and serving several southern counties, LBT colony serves the local community through a variety of Sorority programs. We’d love to have you join us for an upcoming event.

The LBT Distinction

The Roulez Roses have been active in Sorority programming since their establishment. The colony has advanced our targets of Educational Advancement and Social Impact.

Les Bon Temps Colony is also the Sorority’s vanguard for LGBTQ adoption and foster care programming.

Service with Southern Charm

Kappa Theta Epsilon Christmas on the Bayou Project

In addition to signature sorority programs, the LBT Colony also participates in a variety of community service efforts sponsored by other organizations.

Our colony created the Unite2Vote Program and is an organizing sponsor of the Christmas for Calcasieu community giveback. 

Bayou Culture & Soul

Every colony of Kappa Theta Epsilon takes an active interest in the arts & culture of its local service area. Some of the past events/activities attended by LBT members are:

  • City Crab Festival
  • Lake Charles Street Festival
