Our Beginnings…

The political climate of the early 2000’s played a significant role in the creation of Kappa Theta Epsilon. The constant negative portrayal of lesbians and gays in mainstream media, and the emergence of same-sex marriage as a political issue drove our Founder to look for a medium to create change.

The Sorority was founded on the morning of February 24th. Its mission would be to serve the community through social & political activism while embracing sisterhood as its primary aim.
