ATLANTA, GA | The Jewel of the South

Greetings from the Heart of the South!

Kappa Theta Epsilon is proud to serve the metro Atlanta community through the Brilliant Beta Chapter. Located in Fulton county, and serving the metro Atlanta and north GA areas, Beta is the sorority’s base of operations and has served as hostess chapter since 2015. We are the current home of our Founder.

The JOTS Legacy

Beta chapter, the Jewel of the South, has been instrumental in Sorority innovation. Our biennial theme was conceived and activated here. The chapter is also responsible for the concept for the STEMS program and PowHER Lunch: A Candid Conversation about Women in Entrepreneurship.

Brilliance in Action: Community Service

In addition to signature programs, Beta Chapter also participates in a variety of community service efforts sponsored by other organizations.

We have served with AIDSWalk Atlanta, The Henry County Public Schools district, Hands On Atlanta’s Discovery Program, Lost n Found Youth, Covenant House, and many more. The colony also provided a financial gift to the Love Kitchen, located in Knoxville, Tennessee, during our 2015 fiscal year.

Commitment to Arts & Culture

A hallmark of the Jewel of the South is our continued interest and support of Atlanta’s art & culture. Some of the past events/activities attended by Beta chapter members are:

  • Opening Weekend at the Legacy Museum
  • Atlanta Jazz Festival
  • Atlanta Dream home games
  • A Taste of Atlanta
  • 1st Fridays at the High
